For Insurance Agents and Insurance Adjusters

At Oklahoma Disaster Restoration, you can count on us to be the experts in the field of disaster restoration and mitigation. This includes water damage & water damage restoration, fire and smoke damages, mold-related damages, and more. On our staff, we have 5 certified instructors and 6 classes. We offer 2-6 hour courses at our facility and we can even bring a class to your office.

We have been a provider of continuing education though the Oklahoma Insurance Department since 2003, provider number 105.

Ethics: Character Counts

This three hour course helps connect the philosophical thoughts and morals from ancient days to modern day character qualities.

Fire Restoration: Structure & Contents

This six-hour course outlines the causes of fire, components of fire, characteristics, and behaviors of smoke and soot, taking in calls from clients with fire and smoke, assessments, cleaning strategies, and contents.

Water Damage Mitigation

This three-hour course educates on basics of water damage, water damage restoration, the difference in classes of water loss, taking in client calls, the importance of timely response, psychometric – the science of drying, the job of first responders, assessments, and tools and equipment used.

Basics of Fire Damage or Water Damage Calls

Both of these are one-hour courses designed for agents and entry-level staff to learn what they need to ask when taking in new claims. These classes are perfect to bring to your office when you can’t break away for a 1/2 day class.
